My apologies. I did get your e-mail. I've just been swamped with other stuff and this is the first chance I've had to check back on this site.


After seeing those photos, I don't blame you for wanting to swap out the housing. I have no explanation for what happened to that one. It's almost like it was emptied of all oil, filled with water and allowed to freeze to the point of bursting that housing open. Either that or someone dropped this tractor 20 feet onto the right rear wheel and the force caused the housing to shatter. I have never, ever seen one broken so extensively.

I am pleased that you followed my advice to get deep into your other trans-axle. As you see, they are not all that scary and you've now answered some of your questions about that bushing issue. Work with Brian on the parts needed and you should have that one back up and working for you shortly.
