case 444 bogs down

i have a case 444 it runs good for 5 to 10 min with the mower on and then it boggs down and will all most quit. I turn off the mower and throttle it down it will run fine throttle it back up still running good turn on the mower and it boggs down. i can run the mower at a idle. and if i throttle it up to fast it will start running rough. it"s running hot to. is this a carb issue

sounds like it to me , clean the main jet , the emulsion tube ( under the mainjet ) and check the float level.a plugged mainjet will make an engine lean out and if not corrected will melt pistons
