Price Check Case 442 garden tractor-selling price?

I have a 442 garden tractor, purchased in 1969. It has always been kept in a garage and has not been used for about 10 years. A neighbor is interested in buying it, but I have no idea of a price to ask for it. Any suggestions would
be appreciated.

I am looking to purchase a Case 442 garden tractor. I own this same tractor and am having problems with the Kohler engine using oil. I live in eastern New York state. Are you close to New York?

If it were a Deere, and in reasonable shape, it would be worth in the neighborhood of $600 - $800.

There are a number of Case tractor forums including a Yahoo group. There is also a website selling re-power packages for Case / Ingersoll tractors. Lastly the SearchTempest site SearchTempest - The EASY way to search Craigslist allows you to search Craiglist anywhere in the country, to find parts tractors.
