Case 1594

We have a Case 1594 tractor. It is working with idling but once it gets to a high RPM it dies. Anyone have any suggestions on what could be the issue? Thanks.

Might be starving for fuel...did it start doing this in cold weather? are the fuel filters new?

Yes, it was -30 the day it started having issues. No the fuel filters are not new but they only have approx 400 hours on them.

Did you run antigel in your fuel?

Your filters might be waxed if your fuel had gelled, they might be plugging off the fuel supply.

I'd change the filters and see if that cures it.
