About 10 years ago I bought some supplies from a lumber yard out of my area paid by check . Then 2 months later I get a call from them saying they lost the check and I need to write another one . it was for $ 175.00 . So I told them my accountant charges $ 150 an hour to go thru my checks , and a stop payment is $ 30 . So send me $ 180.00 and I will get right on it . Never heard from them .
