Could anyone comment on Caroni Mowers that they have used with their Yannies? I'm particularly interested in their 6 foot rear discharge finish mowers and the flail mowers
Thanks
Nick

I have been selling and using them for a couple years. I have used the side discharge up until this year. I am totally satisfied with my 6' rear discharge. I just got a 7'7" Caroni rear discharge. I put it on a YM2420D. It works great. So far I have had no warranty claims. The only complaint is having to remove the belt guards to grease the bearings.

Just bought a 5' rear discharge for my neighbor. It was $930 at AgriSupply, and it had hose extensions on the grease fittings. Don't have to remove the belt guards. You might want to see about getting these for your Caroni.

I have been begging my wholesaler to get them for me. He only orders once a year. He will probably forget before he orders again.

Brent,
I would like to look at your web site if you have one, on the Caroni mowers and loaders. What is it?

We sold Caroni finish mowers for years...and found it to be a very good mower. No chronic problems, but a pain to grease. Grease extensions & chain guards were extra.

We now import PrimeCut(private label), made by Sitrex and identical to their own label. Rear discharge, rear chain guard STANDARD, grease extensions STANDARD, 15-degree side-to-side leveling arms STANDARD, SOLID tires, etc. Couldn't be happier. In my opinion, it holds up solidly in comparison to Landpride and BushHog finish mowers. This is a top shelf mower, and we are offering it at a middle shelf price.

Ask around on the board....I know there are a few folks here who have bought one from us. You won't get hurt with the Caroni, but I believe most people will like the Sitrex better.

I , for one prefer Sitrex.

I too have a Sitrex (5 ft. rear discharge) and it seems to be a well built mower. A lot of mower for the money. All grease fittings, including the ones for the bearings, are accessible without removing any guards.

Re: Sitrex Mowers

I also have the 5' Sitrex rear discharge mower with safety chains and easy access grease fittings. Easiest thing I've ever had to grease!.....Just one heck of a nice mower for the money. Couldn't be happier!

Allen,
Where did you get your Sitrex mower. I live in WI and haven't seen them around our area. Any info would be appreciated.
