Yesterday they delivered my new Caroni TM1900 flail mower. Just getting it off the truck was a real circus. First, the trucking company assured me they were sending a straight box truck. Well, they sent a tractor-trailer which had no chance of getting in my driveway. Ok, we will unload it on the street. However, the mower was too long to turn sideways in the trailer so we could lower it with the lift-gate. So, I get the tractor and use the fel to lower one end of the mower while the other end is lowered with the lift-gate. All went well and there was no damage to people or equipment. It took me the rest of the day to get it unpacked and prepped for mowing. Oh, it was 98* in the shade to make it even more fun. Today, I had to trim the PTO shaft. I was dreading that. I watched the video on everythingattatchments about 6 times so I didn't screw it up. It turned out fine and the mower works like a champ. It seems very well built and the price was reasonable for a flail mower. I did about 3 hours of mowing tonight and like the results. The Caroni and the folks at AgriSupply get a big thumbs-up from me:thumbsup:
