Carburetor Spitting Fuel

I’m new to tractors and I recently picked up a Farmall H. Ive asked about it before but I have another question. The carburetor spits fuel when the choke is on and I try to start it, but after it starts the fuel stops spitting, or sometimes it drips for a minute before stopping.
What is this caused by? How can I fix it?

Might the float be too high or using to much choke?
