I have rebuilt the carb on my 1956 Farmall Super M but now for some reason the fuel isn't flowing correctly and it won't start on its own but will start if I spray carb cleaner into the carb. Also, does anyone know which way the carb venturi goes in? I'm thinking I may have installed it wrong.

See if you can turn it around, wider side should be faceing out.

I believe that the venturi will only fit in one way. Another thing I can think of why this is happening is that the choke is not hooked up correctly. Take the intake hose off and place your hand over it to simulate choking it. There should be a strong smell of gas there. If it tries to run and dies it is most likely a problem with the jets.
