My 70's 8HP Eager-1 needs arebuild of the carb or a new one. But, I do have a carb from a 3 year old 6.25 craftsman push mower. This carb looks pretty clean and the float and valves look to be in working order. Could this carb replace the carb on the eager-1, it is the same size it will fit on engine, but will it work, never mind the choke
