IT - I think you are absolutely correct. In todays society people are no longer being held accountable for their own actions. No matter how crazy, stupid or otherwise - - somebody else is always to blame. Somebody else can always be sued.

It's no longer - accept the truth of the situation. Its - search for the guilty party.

Doofy - probably not. A fellow in Anchorage attempted to sue a building owner. New office bldg built on a corner lot. Fellow driving too fast. Off the road and into the bldg. He, thru his attorney, attempted to sue the bldg owner. Never made it to court but it is a definite indication how far people will go.

I would like to have some of those pre-cast highway barricades. Just too darn heavy for the Kubota.

You are absolutely correct. Every one is Litigation crazy this day and age. No simple solution to the fence dilemma since it is right on the county right of way. If I ever make it out of this state alive, I think I will just rent and buy renters insurance. Any time you own something, to many others want to take it from you. Have a Great Day.

Not knowing the OPs geographical location makes the sandpit, mud bog or moat ideas null. The ground could be frozen. How about a ramp to launch them over the fence?

Another odd thing...where I live, most people run off the road on the straight stretches.

...and put up some no trespassing signs, so even the dull ones will know they shouldn't have driven though the fence. : - )
