Car Brake Rotor Replacement / Resurfacing

/ Car Brake Rotor Replacement / Resurfacing #41
When replacing the pads. If the roters are not warped scuff them with sandpaper to remove the glaze. If they are warped or scored have them turned, tell them to take as little off as possible, just enough that the brakes won't pulse. The calipers can be compressed with C clamps as was mentioned, just open the bleed. If the bleed is frozen or the caliper leaks you have to replace it.
You can have the roters turned for $10.00 it could cost $30 or more to replace them.

/ Car Brake Rotor Replacement / Resurfacing #44
This is a 2001, 1500 Quad cab dodge ram 4x4.
I bought OEM brakes and rotors this time from NAPA.
This has been a problem since I bought the truck, just the one wheel. I think the original caliper part that holds the pads is a little out of spec.

Bought new caliper today for this brake problem, but haven't got them on yet to see if it fixes the problem. Was busy trying to fix my other vehicle that suddenly developed a blinking Check Engine and VTM error.
