Anyone but me do the tongue test ? It does work on the bad ones

This is a great way to break in the new helper. Years ago I worked in a fab shop. I was new & knew nothing. A guy told me to go look around for the metal streachers. I must have asked everyone in the shop where the metal streachers . When I asked the boss where they were he told me that they ( the guys in the shop) pulled that on all new employes

Sounds like a muffler bearing / water pump for a vw bug kinda thing..

At the airport we always sent new guys to the shop to get 100 feet of flight line and a gallon of prop wash.

Funny thing is, the guys in the shop would give them stuff and send them back to us.
