The posts are bolted to rails, and the rails are anchored to the ground with rebar with caps welded on the tops. I wanna form out around the rails and pour concrete for extra strenghth, and ill go up with concrete 12in, this way I could use 8ft sheets to finish the walls. My concrete buddy got delayed with winter coming fast, so I got put on hold till spring. reason I went so high is so I could have multiple impliments layed out and still be able to move my machine around instead of only in the center.

Nice...looks nice and solid... Why so tall? seems like you cold have dropped the pitch a bit and maybe the overall height a foot or 2...giving less weather exposure......

Pitch: In the past we have gotten enough snow on the roof to warrant this pitch n 2x10 roof rafters. We also get that wet heavy stuff or the snow gets rained on some time before it melts. So unfortunatly both pitch n adequate support is mandatory here in the Poconos of N.E Pennsylvnia.

Tall: One advantage of a tall shed roof is extra sun light reaches deeper into the interior to help dry the fire wood in the back. But only if you can point the tall opening south which is what I did here.

Solid: I always hire the same carpenter n I am his helper. He said 4x4 were all we need. I wanted 6x6s.... He was wrong big time, dam thins wiggled like a hula girl. After he left I ended up plating the 4x4s with vertically 2x8 on two sides of the tall 4x4s. I also added T111 triangles in the corners too, see foto below. Now it is solid bulllll.........

Next summer if the north east corner is empty of fire wood and the lazies don't over come me even more as I age. I plan to move my splitting station to this corner. The splitter does not need the afternoon sun shine of the west side of the shed like the wood does.

MF1652 Asked:

Are the posts sunk in the ground or are they attached to concrete piers?

I put in 8, eight inch dia. - 3 foot deep concrete piers. Think now I should have used 10" sona tubes instead of 8" tubes......
