The Iceland Government should be fined by the UN for releasing all that CO2 and pollution from that volcano. Don't they know they are polluting the rest of the world with their volcanic waste? Why does the Iceland government not turn it off?

Opps...I forgot volcanoes don't count in the pollution equation...it's only human pollution that is counted...

People don't want to accept the scientific evidence which is actually pretty concrete that the Earth's climate is warming due to the millions of tons of CO2 we put in the atmosphere. More than the natural system can handle. I guess I can't really blame them because it means a change that people don't really want to contemplate. They won't be able to keep on doing everything they are doing as far as lifestyle. As long as it doesn't come in their lifetime I think there are a fair amount of people that don't want to know about it. If you deny it strongly enough and try to dismiss and humiliate the liberal, academic, over educated scientists that are working on a complex problem with a lot more experience, tools and knowledge about the climate than the Fox News network, it might go away. Good luck with that. But change is coming whether we like it or not.

I attended symposiums, read the books, listened to the hype and heard imminent expert after expert predict the coming ICE AGE... I bought it hook line and sinker... I was a gullible university engineering student at the time.

No argument that the Earth's Climate changes... we have documented cooling and warming periods throughout history...

To say that man is responsible for a significant portion of climate change over estimates our capabilities... no matter how many university professors now say it's true... been there, done that.

For the record, I've never watched Fox News...

Well said ! I bought into the Ice Age forecast as you did....Not going to buy in again...Man is too arrogant to think us little creatures can change the weather pattern of this great big earth. Even if we had a full scale therm o nuclear war we could not destroy the earth...only the humans. We need to learn to ignore the whackos out there.

First of all citing Wikipedia as a reference is like thinking the National Enquirer as a legit source for factual news.

It seems odd to me that there are literally thousands of scientists that are highly skeptical that man made global warming exists but that fact is totally ignored and blown off by the global warming crowd.

Yes I have finally come around. You are right. Global warming is all natural and 6,800,000,000 humans have nothing to do with it. I also believe Neil Armstrong didn't land on the Moon, the Earth is flat, and Barry Manilow can sing. :thumbsup:
