Hose's post about killing yourself comes from the hypocrisy of some environmentalists saying that most of the problems are from overpopulation. Are we overpopulated? Maybe, maybe not. But what Hose is saying is if they TRULY believed that overpopulation is an issue, they would make the ultimate sacrifice to "save" the planet.

I had some folks younger than me heard I worked for a private land fill. They wanted to protest but made it to the lake with all the flowers and trees and thought they were in the wrong place, went to protest a subdivision they was being cleared lol. They still dont believe that theres a landfill there.

Most folks here are good stewarts of the land and use their tractors to clean and make land easier to use. We selective log, maintain soil and prevent erosion, plant crops to attract birds and bees and such.

Sorry I can not read well this morning it seems because painting and planting have different meanings.

This is a serious subject actually. Erosion control was the main factor that got me onto the equipment buying track. With hills it is a yearly chore to maintain and not just a once in a life time effort.
