Can someone suggest a primer or sealer for metal?

I have one of those trucks that the paint falls off the hood. So I stripped it down to the metal mostly and need a good sealer / primer. The end game here is to do a vinyl wrap on the the hood to make things easy. What I need to do is protect the metal and give a place for the wrap to bond to. Cures quick too.
Temps are 40-50 degrees during the day right now - in the shop or out. I don't have a paint booth, but I've made tents used heaters before. Good recommendations? Bonus points if it is low VOC and I can do it in the house!

Go to an auto paint store and tell them what you’re doing. They’ll have some suggestions.
