Hello again,,I have an very good chance of doing a trade for this tractor but owner has no idea what year other than it is a Massey ferguson and look like it was originally yellow. The tag on left btm of dash is 9A-87999. It has a front loader that appears to have been on there since new. Can someone help as I have tried the massey site, Yesterday' tractor with no luck because of the 9A number in SN.,,,,any help?? THanks

'Yellow' says Industrial to me... this area of TractorData.com may help but knowing the model would really help too:

My MF 40 industrial has a serial number of 9A 87164, I don’t think this necessarily means that tractor is a 40 though, because when you look on tractordata.com many Massey models have serial numbers starting with 9A. A picture would help.
