I'm trying to take care of a farm and have zero experience. And, i'm a girl - no experience with mechanical stuff. Especially with this zero turn mower. it is stuck on a hillside as i write this. The blade dug into the hillside. i dug it out, but now pto will not disengage. i at least knew to check switches -- they are ok. Can someone help??

Couple of guesses

The shock to the clutch may have jammed it. Is there a fuse or fuseable link somewhere? Maybe check the wires to the clutch and switches. Is the belt still on the pulleys? Did the sudden stop of the blades break the belt? Maybe just look at the drive system on the deck, does anything look broken or out of place? Be careful and good luck.

Look under the deck to see if it is plugged with dirt, or the decki is bent into the blade..Only when the key is out of the ignition!! Be careful.
