Guys..
This welder is awesome. Building a stair case with it.. Mostly 3/16 thick material.. 10 min after unboxing and hooking up the gas.. She was off and running.. Used the recommendations for the wire speed and voltage and all was perfect. I値l post pics later..

$100 rebate gets the welder for $829.00 thru tractor supply

I've heard nothing but good about the MV210,congatulations and glad to hear you've put it to work. I'm doing ok with my Lincoln Pro 180 but patiently waiting for a good deal to show up for a used Ironman,,,,,,,then I will pounce.:pinkpanther:

Wish I had bought the 210MPV instead of my HH 140... But I didn't know at the time if I could even MIG weld decently and that my projects would get so BIG...

I strongly considered the Lincoln PM210 but couldn’t justify the upgrade.. I still have my 225 for rusty stick welding.. lol

Once you start Mig welding... You won’t touch anything else..

Congrats, its a great welder!

Love mine, and I really haven't used it to its full capacity. I've only run flux core and run it on 120V. But it does a great job and has "hot glued" everything I've need to stick together. I'm far from a welder, but a fair hot glue-er.

One thing that has been plaguing me lately is that the wire binds in the lead. I think a spool gun would really help. Or switch to gas and have pretty welds too.

I started out with 120V but switched to the 220 .. All on mig.. Once you start using grass, you won稚 go back to flux core.. I was surprised how well the recommended settings worked on the chart based on thickness. I have a lincoln handy mig and the recommended settings don稚 seem to work very well.. It welds very good but just have to monkey with the wire speed and amps. It痴 for sale.....

It痴 for sale by the way..

I got a Hobart 210 MVP earlier this year. I run it with gas both on 120 and 220V. I was a proficient stick welder, but MIG is great. Done a lot of projects, and my welds have never been as good as they are now. It offers great flexibility in setting up for different thicknesses and configurations (tack vs full thickness welds). It is heavy, but it had the features I wanted. The current rebate makes it a great deal.

Another fan here. I only have used flux core and have been perfectly happy. The 110/220 connection has worked perfectly and I use the table inside the door for setup.
I picked up the el cheapo Harbor freight welding cart to place it on.
Had to cut a plywood "floor" to raise the welder up enough to open the side door to clear the lip of the cart.
I have a Lincoln tombstone that hasn't been plugged up since I got my 210 MVP.

I also have the 210MVP and it's been a champ for sure. Easily handles anything I can throw at it and never any issues. Getting ready to throw another 10lb spool of wire on it as we speak.
