Can I replace 70W incandescent bulbs with 15W (100W equiv) LED bulbs?

I hate LEDs for painting a task I do pretty often at work. I find a couple of incandescent 300 watt bulbs in a lamp with no shade make the best light. I screw 300 watt bulbs in 100 watt or less fixtures all the time. I’ve never melted one with the shade off. And the 300 watt bulbs are like $3. I haven’t found anything even close to as cost affective for the light amount. Three 100 watt bulbs isn’t near as bright as one 300 watt imo.

Just changed out my barn light from 300 watt CFL to LED

40W High Output LED Bulb - 5,200 Lumens - E26/E27 Commercial & Residential Retrofit Light - 150W Metal Halide Equivalent - 4000K

Wow...I'm sold. That is an amazing difference of brighter light and less cost for power usage.
