Can I get suggestions for weed killer?

I use vinegar with a few drops of detergent in it.

What do you use that on and how does it work for you?

Without pesticides and genetically improved crops (both GMO and breeding) billions of people would be starving and predictions in the 1972 best selling book, "The Population Bomb" would have come true. It was a real scare book that millions, including myself believed, but didn't happen because of the green revolution which dramatically improved yields. The funny thing about the book was that the green revolution was already under way when the book was published.

I say, 3 cheers for herbicides and other modern farming practices!

For the record, that, my friend is pure speculation. There is NO way that you know how many people would or would not be starving if x, y, or z did or did not happen.

And for the record, almost a billion people ARE starving right now, despite your three cheers.

Of course I don't know exactly how many people were saved, and of course I had no way to count them. OTOH, several readily available sources use that number, and even if the correct number is 990,000,000, it's significant.

2013 World Hunger and Poverty Facts and Statistics by World Hunger Education Service. The site lists poverty, harmful economic systems, conflict and climate change as causes of hunger. Not food production technology. And it specifically says the world produces enough food to feed everyone 2,700 calories per day, up 17% more per person per day than 30 years ago despite a 70% population increase.

So to what do you attribute the increase in food production over the last 30 years if not technology, which includes pesticides, genetic engineering, plant breeding, better cultivation practices, etc.?

A friend bought a used tractor and punctured a tire while mowing the road right-of-way near my place a few years ago, so he drove up to my shop door with a pencil sized hole in a tire and a stream of calcium chloride pouring out. He hadn't known it had that stuff in the tires until them. But it killed the grass and that grass didn't come back for 2 years.

That works but only for short while.

I use vinegar specifically for that reason.

What do you use that on and how does it work for you?

gallon vinegar, handful of table salt and 3-4 ounces cheap dish detergent, kills all the plants I spray it on dead. As a hobby beekeeper I oppose any use of any chemical that can/does harm to bees, as they are important.....YMMV

eta:in a 1 gallon sprayer and the treated plants don't come back.
