Kioti CK2510 HST
Sorry these pictures are no better than they are but this thing is very small. I was just in he garage sweeping up around the CK-20 and I discovered this small screw head on the floor. It is surely from somewhere on my CK20 (s) HST with FEL and a black meteor snowblower on it because it has the traditional dark gray Kioti paint on it and it came from the vicinity of where that tractor sits.

I might call it the top part of an allen headed barrel screw but maybe that's incorrect. The threaded screw part is oviously a small fine metric thread broken off very close to the head. The diameter of the broken threaded shank is very close to 3/16". The diameter of the cylinder or barrel head is very close to 3/8" and it has fine gnurled straight lines machined around the head for gripping between thumb and fore finger and starting the bolt threads by hand. It has a allen wrench pocket he middle of the top surface of the head which measures and takes a 3/16" allen wrench (hex internal).

I am not able to readily locate any similar spot where this small screw or bolt head lives. has anybody else out there had to work with such a bolt lately and they recall where it came from. I would like to see to it a replacement finds the target and gets replaced with a new one. I don't have any leaks right now. This might be a needle in a haystack thing. Thanks.

Not from those fuzzy pics.

See if your camera has a close up, (macro) setting.

This is often a small flower, on your settings dial, were you turn it on.

I thought that looked familiar so I went out and looked around on the tractor. The only place I found those was just behind the fuel filter on the, (for lack of a more accurate term) the valve that connects to the implement lift control lever. I can't imagine how it could break. I did found find a mouse crawling around the tractor too. Hopefully not for long. I hope this helps.

Really hard to tell from the pictures. If it wasn't for the gray paint, I would suggest looking at the shear pins in the blower.

The bolts in the back of the seat are an hex drive, with pan heads. They hold the seat back to the mounting plate.

Just a couple thoughts for starters.

That type of bolt isn't very common on the tractor.

Sorry for the bad pictures. My hand is not too steady for those close ups but I have tried again and blieve this picture is better.

jwease: Thank you and I saw that little screw head after you pointed it out also but unfortunately it seems to have a broader diameter to the top surface where the allen head hex hole is located.

MichiganIron: Thanks for checking in, Bob. I slid the suspension seat forward and discovered the similar screw head you described also. They appear too be very similar to the ones pointed out by jwease but mentioned they are just broader. This screw is very similar other than head diameter is more than the 3/8 I show.

Hey, that step you made for me and put on my CK20 is a real help and works like a champ. Anybody that wants a nice step to bolt on your CK20, give Bob a holler at Michiganiron.com

Here's the picture/thanks to all. I hope this picture proves better

Doubleclicking and enlarging the attached picture and I think you will see a better detail. Remember, this is just the head and small shaft remaining as it appears to have been sheared off

Well at least they are small, couldn't hold much, but if they sheared must be something that moves. I found a bolt or two, brass looking ones, that I'm sure came off my ck30,about 1/4 or so,but looked and looked and could not find a hole, one things for sure if its important we will both know where they came from before long.

I'm betting with a liitle help, you could make that picture of the bolt head fill up...say...a front loader bucket? (LOL)

We printed the picture and will do a computer parts search tommorow. We'll let you know what we come up with.

Rimshot,

Go to the back of the tractor, right side under the fender, above the rear axle. The Hydraulic control valve shaft attaches to the position control lever with a socket bolt that looks like what you found. If you move the position control lever while looking into the back of the tractor, you'll see where the valve shaft out of the housing attaches to the lever arm. You should be looking at the head of a socket bolt right next to the case. If you see a hole, we found the rest of your bolt.

Let us know,
