Engine production info here, not sure if they specify year of excavator manufacture, maybe only model.

Thanks for your help but I am trying to find out if the excavator was built 2013 or 2014 and the engines could have been built a year or so earlier. Thanks for any help.

I understand that, that's why I said <not sure if they specify year of excavator manufacture, maybe only model>
If the engine is built in 2014, it's not going to be a 2013 build machine though.
Take your serial number to the dealer and ask them.
