Why not use a SS screw and nylock nut, with some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion?

I have a Braun vineyard weeder that has an electric over hydraulic safety switch.

A new vineyard in the same town. The tool is new to me and looking forward to testing it within the month. If works as well as I think it can then others in our area are likely to adopt it over time. I'm the guinea pig.

Check out Princess Auto: Threaded insert and Tool..super duper device for blind holes in sheet metal. One tough as nails fastener! Not pricey, darn good idea too.

have one, I would say to not use those cheap inserts, the strip very easy, I use aviation ones, they are fine thread, but hold better.
