Can anyone recommend a good American Made bottle jack??

Im interested in purchasing a good bottle jack (or 2) for general usage (truck, trailers, tractor, projects, etc.) I would like to purchase a good American made one that I can give to my kids 30 years from now. Any suggestions (brand) ??

Try a NAPA Auto Parts Store. At one point they had two lines of jacks, the cheap ones for people focused on price & the HD USA built ones for the professional. You may have to ask for help. Also, check your local industrial supply co. Good Luck.

I've had mine for about ten years and couldn't tell you who made it or where it was made. I bought it from Northern Tool, and can say that it's been a good one. I keep it in my truck tool box for lifting roofs and parts of houses that I'm working on. I've also used it to lift the rear of my 40,000 pound dozer into the air, plus every other piece of equipment that I own. It's a 20 ton bottle jack that has always got the job done.
