Kubota track laoder and backhoe

Anyone have any ideas what this unit might be?

Almost looks homemade from various bits and pieces.

My boss found this add and is hoping to go look at it tomorrow. He has been trying to figure out what it is and what parts availability might be. Cool little machine.

My guess is that it's something in-between.

It may have a Kubota engine as the seller states, but, I don't think it's an actual machine built by Kubota.

Looking at it it appears to be more than someone's Rube Goldberg garage special.....the parts appear specifically made for this machine and they look consistent front to back......but not something built and marketed on any major scale.

Feel sure once you get a closer look it will be a machine made by some small scale outfit in limited numbers using off the shelf engine/tranny and some specifically made components in-house.

JoeinTX, I think you have made a very good assessment of that unit.

I know one thing, if that was local, I would sure be taking a long, hard look at it! Just the thing for smaller jobs around an acreage I think.

Ditch Witch makes a similar machine, and uses a lot of Kubota engines, could be a prototype.

Not crazy about the single arm loader, but alot to like about it otherwise.
