It's unkept, and growing into the fence and another bush. But would like to know what this red flowering plant is. uploadfromtaptalk1461899634760.jpg

It doesn't look like an azalea to me but I have been wrong before. Ed

Blooming azalea and a Japanese barberry trying to take over the neighborhood.

Trumpet creeper? ('hummingbird vine')

Just a guess, but the red blooms and pointy leaves sure look like it.

Without being able to see the leaves or a closeup, I'm gonna lean towards azalea as well.

Burning bush foliage turns red in fall. The picture above is flowers in spring, not foliage.

And it is an early bloomer. You can drill into the pic a little before it gets blurred.

I certainly don't know, but from the street...really a lot of color. Reason it caught my eye.

Because of the time of the year and where your location is its PROBABLY azalea. Some species of Azalea flower before leafing out (flame Azalea is my favorite). Really need a better, closer picture to be sure. The other suggestion I saw made was Weigela, but it seems a little early for that and the flowers don't usually dominate the foliage Can't be sure without a better picture, as I said.
