I picked up this plow at an estate sale for $150 & can't find any identifying marks on it. Across the top lip there appears to be Canada written a handfull of times with a line through the center of the name welded in where the trip springs connect (forgot to get good pictures of that). It had an electric winch to lift things, but I already pulled it off.

I'm about to fab up a mount to my loader arms unless the manufacturer happens to have a cheap bracket. I figure a CAT3 sized bar across the bottom & some hook at the top will hitch up to my SSQA to 3pt adapter nicely. Put some chain from the top of the arch to the lift point on the plow & use the curl on the loader to raise & lower it the same way the winch would have. Also need to pick up some skid shoes as those didn't come with the plow.

It is made by Snowbear out of Canada
SnowBear Plows Inc. - Snowplows
I bellive the mounts are around $300 it would be cheaper to make your own.
I had one on a Jeep for 15 years.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Well, they really have quite what I'm looking for, but at least I'm back to plan A building my own.

Anybody know if there are any 3/4" shank skid shoes around for cheap? Looks like they only sell the shoes as a kit with the mounting brackets. I already have the brackets, but can't find any generic shoes with a shank that size (everything is 1" or bigger or 1/2" for tiny ATV plows). I'd rather find something cheap I don't have to modify, although it wouldn't be that hard to make a better bracket with a bigger hole for a more standard shoe.

Does that take a standard cutting edge?

It looks to be a standard steel cutting edge, not that I'm that familiar with what is standard or not. Looks to bolt up the same as my land pride back blade.

Here are some I found from Amazon:
Amazon.com: plow skids

I'd already looked through that list... everything is 1/2" or over an inch. I might just have to get an 1" shank one enlarge the hole on the bracket & probably reinforce it a bit.

E-mailed SnowBear & they only sell skid shoes with the brackets for $110. I can get generic ones for cheaper even if you figure in my time to modify the mounting brackets.

I think I would weld on a 2" or 3" piece of 1" pipe to each of the existing brackets and use standard shoes. TSC or Rural King sell the standard shoes for $20.

That is the plow I use for my TC30 - 7', when I am not using my bucket.
