can a MMM be added at a later date?

since i wont be using the MMM until i finish most of my yard work, can one be puschased later and match up? it seems like a MMM for a 1850 say hasnt really changed, but im concerned with compatablity on addding one later. are the specific to the model/year?

Yes, BUT u will most likely get a better deal as a package, tractor and MMM. U will pay list $$ for the MMM when u are ready. If u plan on getting one eventually, why not buy it now and save a few $$?

I'd check on that. My dealer makes no distinction with "packages" as they sell everything at a "good" price seperately. Probably don't end up with a "really great" deal at the end of the day, but it is good, solid pricing with no surprises.

The REALLY big one that will bite you later is if you want to add a BH. BX2230 to BX23 when I bought mine was a ~$2,000 difference. Adding a Woods BH in a week or two for $5,000. There's some good (Woods unit nicer than the unit on the BX23...more consistent with new BX24 unit) and bad (money), but that's a chunk of change none-the-less.
