Will look at a few more property's over the week as we are camping. For used property tractors I am only looking at JD's and Kubota's since we have dealerships near by.

Nah, I deleted it since it takes away from your post.

We spoke with the financial guy this week and he thought our camp idea was a go. We have two properties lined up to see Saturday morning. I'm trying to call the owner of this one (with all the security) to gain more info on its construction.

Im enjoying watching your voyage through the process. Im quite surprised land is that ‘reasonable’ around there. Im familiar with real estate of NW Montana and the PNW, 40 acres of rural mountain is going to be around $10k an acre. Put that land within 60 miles of a decent size town or outdoor recreation hub(ski area, lake, natl park) and dont even look at the price.

Good for you on search and plans, more xc ski trails is great!

Looked at two and missed another two. Will post pics when they are processed. We camped near there and looked at camps one day and work on trails the other. Was a nice weekend.

Before you buy any property make sure you can do what are planning to do with the property. Most places in the US have cracked down hard on what you can do with a recreational property. You may not be allowed to camp there. You may not be able to place a trailer. You probably won't be able to get electricity or water without an approved septic system in place. 15 years ago we could get both with no questions asked, today the county won't allow it. (which is fine by me)
