JD 850-sold to buy Kbota Grand L3010
Has anyone purchased or used the Cammond Box blades?
Specifically the BS60R or the BS66R ? This box blade has the mechanical linkage to raise and lower the scarifying teeth, but I'm unsure how solidly built the blade is.

Still trying to make a decision on this blade at $800 vs Bushhog rollover at $1226, or a regular box blade at $650.

Opinions or constructive criticism appreciated.

I have a Cammond BSR66 with the BSH hinged back plate. It seems to be built heavier than most all of the "medium duty" box blades I've looked at. The mechanical ripper lift mechanism is the same as that used on the hydraulic box blade sans the hydraulic cylinder.

Of course the the "industrial level" box blades (including those from Cammond) are even heavier duty.

A neighbor has a 10 year old Cammond roll-over box scraper (I didn't see it on their web site, so I would guess it's a discontinued model). While well worn, everything functions just fine.

The local JD dealer always stocks a number of their "grading scrapers" as he says the local farmers and ranchers prefer them for road maintenance.

I bought the Cammond because I like the 66-inch width for my tractor, hinged back plate, and the mechanical lift doesn't seem to be readily available from other manufacturers - or, at least the ones I can get from the local tractor dealers.

I only have the industrial model 2C2-66, 830lbs and works great.
