USED: Cammond 5ft hydraulic box blade - How much?

How much would you expect to pay for a used Cammond 5ft Hydraulic ripper box blade? I believe it is their standard version. I am looking to make an offer on it and not even sure where to start.

The BS/H model looks like a pretty simple design--a standard looking BB with a small hydraulic cylinder to operate the rippers. A 5ft KK BB without hydaulics at TSC runs $500 new. Add say $150 for the hydraulics and that Cammond is worth $650 new-IMHO. Used--$400. Offer $300 and see what happens.

Aren't the Cammond's much heavier duty than a KK? I've seen a few for sale around here used. All were a $1000 or more.

Thanks for the input on pricing. I too was under the impression that this model was heavier duty than that of a king kutter. Will try negotiating tonight.

I just haven't seen the Cammonds around here except for one on a rental Kubota and it was a much, much heavier duty box blade than anything KK makes. So, I'm guessing a used Cammond would be worth more than any new KK. (You'll notice I said I'm "guessing"; don't know for sure).

Yep, you're right. Question is how much is 85 lb of steel worth in this case. That's up to the OP.

The fella wanted $500 and I just can't do it right now. Might be able to make him a respectable offer in a couple of weeks.
