Here's where we are with the CADDigger 608 so far. Ready to hook up the hydraulics, but I need to order the parts to put the quick couplings on the back of the BX2200.
Thanks. My brother has been doing all the welding. I just supplied the painting and the $$. Its great to have a handy brother with the time and knowledge. Can't wait to start digging something.
Ha! My effort was similar to yours. My son-in-law did 90% of the welding and 100% of the painting, while I supplied 100% of the financing.... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I built a model 728 before I even had a tractor. You would be suprised at the work you can get from this backhoe. Now that I have a Mahindra 4110 I wish that I had built the 708 model which is a convertible model that can be used as a stand alone or 3pt hitch. I built all of the parts myself and used new hydraulic cylinders, valves, motor and pump from surplus center. I had about $2000. in material when finished. I may modify it to a convertible someday. But it is real easy to use the fel and the backhoe at the same time. Like digging a stump with the hoe and pushing it into the fel. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Which model is on wheels, has hoses for attachment to the tractor's hydro supply, and hitches to the tractor, not three-point? So, no engine or pump, uses tractor.
