Cab heater: amperage / load for BX2360 charging system

/ Cab heater: amperage / load for BX2360 charging system #11
Update: I just did a little online shopping and turns out everything I saw was over 120 watts. So maybe the electric heater won't even be an option. Looks like I'll be having a little less fun than I thought plowing the driveway this winter. Now I'm really interested in hearing from someone who's plumbed into the cooling system for heat - anybody out there?

I plumbed mine in and it was easy as can be,, Mine came with the cab "Curtis" and had all the adapters I needed with instructions.. I love it.. When you first start up I fun the fan full speed but after the motor warms up the fan goes off along with the jacket, gloves, hat, even at 20 below.. :D

i'm not too worried about actually heating the cab, as i have plowed/snowblown for years w/o a cab at all, but would one of the 12v electric heaters keep the windshield defrosted?

as everyone has stated, a cold cab is way better than no cab! just wondering how bad the windshield is going to fog/freeze up.

It will fog up on you as the doors are closed and its not pretty.

The kubota heaters are simple to install as they are set just below the
left side of the console and have upper and lower diverters for the hot air heat exchanger that is plumbed into the cooling system.

If I remember correctly the kit comes with shut off valves to bypass the exhanger duting the summer months too and you cna use the fan for some cooling and defogging.

as the original poster had said, i'd rather not plumb it in to the tractor. it is a soft side cab that will be removed during the summer. i just want something quick and easy that could suffice to keep the windows clear, not provide me w/ heat. i figured a 12v fan/heater may be able to do this.

btw, it's not on a kubota, not that that matters, this thread just happened to be about what i was looking for.
