Yesterday I spent 8 1/2 hours at home and around town digging out from a 31" snow storm. That time was spent between my 4710/460 & 2210 & 47 snowblower, with about 6 1/2 hours of that on the 2210. I was amazed how well the snow blower moved the snow. It worked alot better than the 4710 & loader. The down side was that by the end of the day I was a snowman. So today I am staying inside trying to recover from near frost bit to my hands & feet. I have turned down 8 people today who heard that I had the snowblower. I am now thinking about getting a soft side cab for the 2210. What have others installed on there 2210s? Do the windows fog up? Please help!!!
I took some pictures of the snow today, but the sun is shining & only 1 turned out.

I'm interested in a cab for similar reasons. I have height issues though (my ROPS barely clears the header in my shed -- and after modifications!). How much higher do the soft cabs end up?

The cab depending on the manufacturer, should be lower than the ROPS (Curtis Cab). One question I have is, as far as the difference between the hard and soft cab, is the soft cab as weather protective as the hard cab? I hear it is, butt, ...etc? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I am currently looking at buying a cab with a hard back, so that later I can convert to hard doors? I am considering a Curtis cab for my 4100.

I'm so glad I don't have to mess with that "white stuff" any more! That walk looks good!

I decided to get an Original cab with a glass windsheild & electric wiper. I ordered it direct from Original at 2:30 PM yesterday. UPS delivered it today at about 1:30 PM. Talk about fast service. My heated shop has a wood floor so now I have to get the ice & snow melted off the tractor so I can get the cab installed. I will post some pictures later.

I got the cab installed tonight. It took about 3 hours. I only have to connect the electric for the windshield wiper. It realy mounts nice. I did not have to drill any holes in the tractor. It uses existing bolts & it will not be very difficult to remove the cab in the spring. I only have to remove 8 bolts & it will lift off.

Looks great. Mind if I ask the delivered price and how much height did it add to the tractor.
Thanks, Ken /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
