Nice mod.

Ford made similar ones at one time.

Not all scenarios benefit from a rigid fixed lift arm position. Sometimes you want a little bit of travel hence the slot in photo.

Give it time, you'll get irritated with these too. Sometimes I can't find the "just right" setting like you can always do with a turnbuckle. The Kubota ones have a non-uniform hole pattern that gives a lot of in-between settings, but it can take a few tries to suss that out sometimes.

Make sure you adjust these so that they check motion by going into tension, not compression. A lot of folks overlook that part.

Ummmm, I didn't know turnbuckles was irritating I must of missed that meeting. To me a fixed pin position has the makings of to much not enough, now that would be irritating to me almost as bad as loosing a pin or bent pin.

I was thinking the same thing, but thought it must be my inexperience.

Mine has both, pins and turnbuckle. It also has a slotted pin position in case you need a bit of lateral travel.

I had both on a number of tractors...
Didn’t know turn buckles were a pain in the rear til I got the first tractor without.

Never go the other direction.

Yea, my 5310 had chain turnbuckles. They were a pain. Had to have a wrench all the time to tighten the locking nut and with some implements you just couldn't get to them.

Because the spacing of the holes on the inside slider is slightly different from the ones on the outside tube, very small incremental changes can be made to the lower link position by selecting the correct hole for the pin.

I never checked the hole spacing on mine but that must be how they work. Standard on the LS i have and works well.
