Yet again, Kubota supplied Manuals leave a bit to the imagination.
Page 18 of Operator's and Parts Manual indicates:
"Check the oil level in the reduction box and if necessary, add AGMA 5EP, SAE 80W90 gear oil or the equivalent."
Page 21 of the same Manual indicates:
"When servicing either the gearbox or the reduction box, the tightness of the casing must be restored. To do so, apply a layer of silicone to the casing before closing it. Allow the silicone to cure for at least 24 hours before filling it with oil."
Three questions:
1. How do you check the oil level without opening the casing? There is no dipstick or glass to determine oil level.
2. What quantity determines additional oil is necessary?
3. How (and where) is oil added to the reduction box?
