Hello all,
Quick question on the BX2660 instrument cluster.
After running and parking my new BX in the garage I shut her down, but the temp gage stays frozen in the warmed up range with the engine off and key out of the ignition.

It stays there for days.

When I go to restart her two days later and move the key to the "on position" the needle drops to cold and stays there. If I pull the key out, it stays down, if I start her up, she warms up as normal.

Is it normal for the temp gage to stay at its last reading when shutting down the tractor?

Thanks,
JD

I have a 2660 and my guages do the same thing. I think the guages are electric and not mechanical which is why they stay there.

Yeah, my 2660 does the same thing.

Same with mine. It reads accurately when the key is on. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.
