I know there was some question on a recent post as to which was saving which. A BX pulling out a Dodge truck or the Dodge truck pulling out the BX?:D Well today when I came home I couldn't get my Dodge truck up my drive because of snow covered ice on my drive. Had to park truck in yard, go get BX2660 and clean drive till I could get the truck up the drive. For first time even my BX spun coming uphill on the drive when I tried scrapping the drive. I had cleaned it coming up and going down before today but couldn't do any cleaning coming up because it was so slick. It would come up fine but not with bucket down. Gary (Barlows parts man)told me today that my right rear tire on my truck was slick. I knew it was near replacement but didn't realize how bad it was until today. So, 2 new tires in my near future.

I use my bucket to scrape/plow my driveway all the time. Whats nice about it is that it cuts right through the hard icy layer that the vehicles compacted. Gets right to the pavement so any little bit of sun will warm it right up and naturally clean it up.

When I got my BX2660 back up to it's house I noticed my temp gauge was in the red. I about panicked. I raised the hood and checked to see if the fan was turning, it was and I didn't notice any feeling of excessive heat. It's like 30 degrees out side with strong wind. I turned key off and back on and the needle came to the mid point. Turned it off and on a few times and needle shot straight to mid point. Don't know what caused it.

stuck closed thermostat ?

If the engine had been hot or cold then probably but it was neither. The gauge was showing in the red and when I turned it off and back on immediately it went to center and I did it several times and always back to center. I believe it was an electrical/guage fluke. I'll keep an eye on it. The fuel guage has been bad on this tractor since I got it, don't know if it's the float or the guage. I may have Barlows fix it one day but not a real problem for me. Now 2 guages will inspire me to trailer it to them. Thanks for the input.

Why don't you just wait a few months and trade it in? :) :)

Yeah sounds like the perfect solution to me;).

That doesn't always work. I traded the BX2350 rather than fix the one bad front rim/tire and ended up with the same problem with the new BX2660.:)
