BX25 new rear case......

I went to pick up my tractor from the dealer Saturday. I immediately noticed the new rear case was not painted gray. They left it aluminum without any paint. Was I wrong to question why they didn't paint it. They said they never paint them....so I proceeded to ask them if they did ALL of them wrong?

They paint at the factory, right, they should of painted it. why did they replace it? Warranty ? What is the reason they gave for not painting any of hem ?

I would have expected it painted too. But it might be easier to do it yourself rather than argue with those dingalings.

Not warranty. I broke off a couple of teeth on the PTO drive gear. I am in agreement that it should have been painted. They said they never paint them.....I said then you have always done it wrong then. They said it won't rust because it is aluminum.....so my Chevy aluminum rims that are not "rusting" still look good after years of salt after the clear coat wore off........
