I have been actively researching the BX 2660. My local dealer will sell me an installed Curtis Cab, hard doors, with heater and wiper kit for $3,900. I will be very interested to see what your quote is.

Did you ever get the cab? How do you like it?
Thanks

I don't have a Curtis cab on my BX2660 but I have a TekTite Deluxe cab witch has glass all around, it has excellent visibility and a front windshield wiper, two work lights on the front and one on the rear, plus a convex side view mirror on each side and a rear view mirror inside, I can't remember exactly but I do believe it cost me about $2500. It comes with a basic heater but for $600 I upgraded to a pressurized cab (all holes covered up so no outside air can get in or inside air can't get out.) plus a heater that hooks up to your radiator line. Very toasty and comfy. The best thing is it fits all tractors in the BX series.

I have a Curtiss I bought Jan. 5th 2010 new. So I have had it about a year, its on a John Deere X728, and words can't describe how well made it is and the heater thats in it, its a perfect cab and I really like it.
I don't cut grass with the tractor only blow snow and rototill a garden with it.
I have a ton of pictures inside and out and whatever.

Its on my website, and it was $3850.00 plus tax if I remember right.

Yes,
I was able to find a used cab about 1 hour away and found a heater at my grandfathers farm from some old tractor. Tried it out last night and could not be happier I posted some pictures in a defferent post a few weeks ago.
thanks

Hello Corey, thanks for the info on the Tektite cab. I was looking at the Tektite cab on line, it looks very nice. However it is quite a bit more than $2500 presently, it's over $4000.
I talked to them via email today, the current 60 series model does not accommodate the BX25's backhoe, but they are working on a variant that will be out soon for the TLB.

TH congrats on finding a used cab, wish I could find one!

It is very nice, I even modded it to make it better (strobe, windshield washer, extra heater and iPod/iPhone connection.) it was my understanding when I talked to my dealer that there was just the one model for the BX's and a regular and deluxe version of it. No it doesn't acommodate the backhoe, but would be a nice feature to allow more room to recline the seat more when taking a break, lol. The airtight version didn't exist until I talked to him and brought up some issues I had with it. He worked closely with me through email and we came up with a way to upgrade the heater and block all gaps making it nice and tight allowing it to suck air in from underneath.
