BX25 BH removal/install plus installing 3ph kit

On my B, the lift arms that connect to the mower deck and raise and lower it are driven by a linkage that connects back to the lower 3ph arms.

The lift arms that connect to the deck on the BX are connected via their own linkage so they don't require the 3ph to be installed to function.

So now I'm curious, can you have a MMM mounted on a B with the BH installed (and be able to raise and lower it)? Do the lower lift arms stay on the tractor while the BH is mounted?

On the B xx20 series, the lower arms must be removed, they're in the way of the backhoe frame....therfore the mower won't raise/lower. I set my mower in the highest position and leave it on. I suppose you could power it an mow at the 4" height, but I won't. Earlier, someone mentioned they made a stub shaft out of another lower arm, and used that for the mower raising/lowering. Clever idea, but I wouldn't want to mow with the BH on anyway, that would be a miserable experience (IMHO). It's my understanding that on the Bxx30 series the arms can stay on...not sure about the mower function.

Reference Pic 2 - the pair of rings that secure the through pins, at top.
Don't!
Buy some slip pins / cotters / snap ring pins. I spent more time threading those rings than anything else - also finger risky!
