BX24 Snowblower price and operation

Rayco- instead of a FEL or snowblower, why not a plow on front? I took a truck plow and mounted it on FEL. Best thing I ever did. I can push snow in huge piles and still clear snow quickly. I used it all last winter and I been kicking myself why I didn't do it sooner.

It seems that snowblowers do a much better job, and are also gentler on the driveway. I just got my driveway paved a couple of days ago, so I'm still thinking of it as a newborn baby.

But, considering that I wouldn't bother with a 3pt snowblower with how long my driveway is, and $3000 is too much to spend, I might just have to force my driveway to grow up, toughen up, and get plowed! The $1400 (?) for the plow is much more reasonable than $3000 for a snowblower. I think that's a total rip-off.

I'm only about 25 minutes from a big snow belt (Tug Hill area of NY) but we get next to nothing, really. I'm just as happy to see that B3030 sit right in the barn if it never has to blow a flake of snow!

Quick Comment for all you snow people. I ride motorcycles and on my BX24 I just wired my Gerbings hookup for my heated liners. My neighbors must think Im wearing a windbreaker but I am in a heated suit and can stay out all day. Not cheap but if you already have them, great add-on.

I put seat heaters in my car & love it. Was eyeing up my Kubota wondering if I could get pads to fit into that seat...

The gerbings jacket liner is the way to go. Really never looked into other brands but the sooner you get one, the more you'll realize you shouldn't have waited. What sick is I had the clothing for two years and just thought of it about a month ago. Yesterday I plowed with the zipper to my throat and it felt like one of those heated pads around my neck. I came off the machine looser than when I got on it. You would need the controller but could start without one and install an on/off switch

I alos believe you can find the seat heater kits on ebay cheap (I was looking to put one on the motorcycle) but I would go to the jacket.

For seat heater, I use a Lava Buns stadium cushion. Put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and it will cook you a## off for 2+ hours. Cost $20 and keep me warm(er).

Reed I live in the snow belt average 120-140" a year next time I get lake effect snow you want me to ship some to ya hahaha
