To the you-plural of this group,

If you have a snowblower for a BX24 (or 22, 23, 25), would you share the price he paid for it, and whether you bought it new or used, if you don't mind? Also, is it powered hydraulically or by some front PTO output?

Thanks.

I have one for my BX24. Bought it from a party on Cl who never used it. Actually it was never even assembled so I guess you could say it was new. It came with the quick hitch, mid PTO and front blower. It does have the hydraulic chute rotator but manual deflector. I got it for 2700.00. Thing works like a champ. Runs off the mid PTO. Would get one again in a heartbeat.

Wow, $2700 privately? I suppose I'll be sticking with using the loader for a little while yet. Thanks for the info keyman1808!

I used the loader for 2 years and I found mine just by chance and snagged it. Used the money I had set aside for a MMM and bagger to get it. No regrets here. You may want to look at a rear mount blower...much cheaper in price, only drawback is operating in reverse.

I just bought a BX2750D front mount blower for my BX25.I had to buy the quick hitch and mid pto kit.It all came to $3200 brand new. I got it at MB Tractor in Plaistow NH

Rayco- instead of a FEL or snowblower, why not a plow on front? I took a truck plow and mounted it on FEL. Best thing I ever did. I can push snow in huge piles and still clear snow quickly. I used it all last winter and I been kicking myself why I didn't do it sooner.

We paid ~$3K for the 2750D front blower and quick hitch for my BX24. Expensive but this thing can blow snow over the neighbors house. Worth every penny. I even had a guy drive by and stop that owned a Deere to check out how far it blows snow - said his Deere doesn't blow 1/2 as far. HA!

I rigged up a window motor for chute rotation and a linear actuator for Surplus Center for the deflector. I use two marine grade momentary DPDT switches for control. It was easy to wire up and works perfectly.

Is it true if you have the snowblower 2750D on your BX, that when you want to put on the FEL, that the quick hitch assembly must be removed?? If so how much of a hassle is it to do that??

Yes it is true they will hit. 2 minutes max to take off. Spin off the 2 wing bolts and disconnect the PTO.and disconnect the hydraulic lines. DONE. I feel that it takes longer to remove the blower itself than the hitch and PTO.
