While trying to resolve the question of which loader QD points to attach the hoses from the Quick Hitch/Subframe on my BX24 (see related thread posted earlier today), the tech at the dealer told me to make sure that the Quarter Inching Valve on the BX24 was set at the "mid point" in order to keep the speed of motion of the quick hitch "reasonable".
Is this true? I always thought the QIV controlled the speed at which the three point and mower linkage moved and had nothing to do with the speed at which the loader moved.
