Mowing bx24 mower questions

I have a mowing deck on my bx24. When I start the PTO for the mower it takes forever to come on. Is there something that I am overlooking when I start the mowing deck???

Drop throttle, engage, wait 1-2 seconds and then it should spin up. A little delay is normal.

Mine has been that way since new. Like Rdsaustintx said, idle it on down, engage pto, wait, after engagement, rev it on up and go.

Same here on the BX2200. Do just as Rusty said.

same here. but i ease into it before i push all the way , its pretty much an inch just before the end. once pto kicks in then i push pto lever al lthe way and over to lock. thsi way there is a less of engine surge load.
