/ bx24 MMM compability #41
Hope you all do not mind a newbie resurecting this old thread. I have just got a 2014 BX 25D (c/w BH and Loader). I have a MMM for a 2006ish BX1800 (Rck60B-22BX ) and am thinking to adapt similiar to what Roma did. My observations and thoughts are:
1. I think my 25D should be similiar to the BX 24 so hope to do the same adapting mod with the rear tabs.
2. I have put the mower in place and the front connection all seems to fit fine. My rear braclets on the mower have anot a 20 5/16" c-c, and my mower tabs are at about 16 3/8". It appears if I simple move (or add) tabs at 20 5/16 c-c in the same for/aft alignment, that the brackets may interfere a bit with the spring/bolt assemblyies on the mower. Should I be making the new tabs about 3/4" toward the front so there is clearance?
3. Could a 25D owner out there who has a mmm please measure the c-c of the tabs on the mower? Are they at 20 3/8? 20 1/2? 20 3/4? There is room so likley bnot critical but I would like to make as close to latest mmm as possible. I also assume the new mmm has the spring bolts further spread as well.
4. Any other tips? I am thinking of adding a set of tabs (and leave the old ones on) so that if it doesn't work I can cut the new ones off and sell it to another owner.
5. How about whether the Back hoe can stay on/disconnecting hoses or not (presure spike issue?)

I will post pics when completed. Thanks
