Help,
After checking and topping off my hydraulic fluid to the correct level on the stick, I noticed foaming of the fluid in hole.

I then changed SUDT and filter and still have the foaming of the fliud when I run the engine, shut it down and check fluid level.

Tractor is stored inside, there doesn't seem to be water in the fuild.

Is this foaming/Bubbles normal?

Thanks, KB

Foaming is NOT normal, and can cause damage to you pump. It usually caused by a leak on the SUCTION side of the hydraulic pump. I can't help on specifics for the BX...but it might be a loose or work line under the tractor running from the rear where the sump is towards the front where the pump is.

Have you changed/cleaned the suction screen? A cloged suction screen will cause air to be pulled in around the pump shaft. This may be your problem.
