On all of my cylinder pins where the grease fittings are there is a bolt going through the bushing and the pin with a locknut on it. Are these bolts supposed to be tight? Most of mine came from the dealer loose with 2-5 threads in between the nut and the bushing that is welded on.

The bolts do not need to be tight. The bolts take the place of hitch pins or cotter keys and the self locking nuts keep them from falling out. If they rattle and bother you tighten them up some.
